Checking of the Situation Behind the Vehicle
Jánošík, David ; Bucsuházy, Kateřina (referee) ; Belák, Michal (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the issue of controlling the situation behind the vehicle. The first part of the thesis summarizes the knowledge about drivers, their reaction time and vehicle response, the construction characteristics of vehicles designed to control what is happening behind the vehicle, and the possibilities of measuring the duration of glances in the form of eye tracking. The analytical part contains an analysis of the duration of glances in the rear view mirrors depending on the mirror, the situation and also the driving manoeuvre during the day time. The data was obtained from video recordings of 12 drivers in normal traffic conditions. The duration of the saccades and fixations of glances was evaluated depending on the mirror used, in individual situations and also for selected driving manoeuvres. The conclusion of the analytical part is devoted to the comparison of the duration of glances during selected driving manoeuvres when exposed to stimuli as well as to the comparison of the differences in individual age groups of tested drivers.
Event Fixation Related Potential During Visual Emotion Stimulation
K tomuto studiu je třeba vyvinout softwarové nástroje v prostředí Matlab k úpravě a zpracování dat získaných z eye trackeru a propojení s EEG signály pomocí nově vytvořených markerů.
Time Analysis of Observation in Interaction Between Driver and Pedestrian
Michalčíková, Lucie ; Tylšar, Vladimír (referee) ; Belák, Michal (advisor)
The theoretical part of this thesis deals with the description of sensory processes, human eye and visual perception. The following are traffic participant and get data using the method of eye tracking. The practical part consisted in the evaluation of driving video recordings describing the driver's observation. The frequency and length of the pedestrian observation was evaluated, and the graphical processing was performed depending on whether the pedestrian actually crossed the road or simulated walking on the side of the roadway.
Drivers reaction time analysis in regular road traffic
Florek, Matej ; Bilík, Martin (referee) ; Belák, Michal (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on driver`s reaction time in real road traffic conditions. The reaction time topic foundations are covered in the introduction as well as the motivation and brief application possibilities of the obtained results. The literature review is focused on history of developing different approaches of evaluation and terminology. For complex understanding it provides basic information about perception forms which are important parts of reaction time. The experiment was designed based on past studies review in order to get real data describing reaction time of chosen stimuli. Obtained data were analysed, partially processed values were compared with predicted results based on other researches, than integrated into general values of reaction time.
Eye Tracking Based Gaming Combat System
Kučera, Ján ; Kapinus, Michal (referee) ; Chlubna, Tomáš (advisor)
Aim of this thesis is to create a 3D fighting game in which, a player is able to aim via their eye gaze. Eyes are tracked using special glasses Pupil Core, that track players eye gaze using infrared camera. The game itself is implemented in a game engine Unity and communication between game and glasses is implemented via local server. The result is a 3D fighting game with an aiming mechanic using eye gaze.
Use of Newsletter in E-business
Raisigl, Ivo ; Klepáček, Antonín (referee) ; Luhan, Jan (advisor)
The dissertation thesis is concentrated on newsletter creation and its productivity evaluation. According to the information analysis from the field of email marketing, advertisement psychology and other knowledge, new proposals of new newsletter have been developed. These proposals went through testing using eye cameras - the eye tracking. Out of the partial proposals has been made a final newsletter which was sent out to customers by the company and the results have been evaluated in comparison with the previous one. The thesis also serves as a guideline for companies working on newsletter creation and its use.
Eye movement tracking using the Raspberry Pi platform
Hunkařová, Nikol ; Mézl, Martin (referee) ; Hesko, Branislav (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with eye movement tracking using the Raspberry Pi platform. The theoretical part describes eye anatomy, eye detection and eyetracking. A system in Python programming language was designed in the practical part. This algorithm is able to perform the eye tracking function using the Raspberry Pi platform and the RPi Camera module. The OpenCV library is used for loading and preprocessing images from the camera. A method that detects and evaluates the direction of view after a calibration is available. The accuracy of the program is tested on three vector methods and two target methods for four screen resolutions.
System for Eye Movement Monitoring
Vojtíšek, Jiří ; Kolář, Radim (referee) ; Čmiel, Vratislav (advisor)
This work deals with eye tracking systems and possibility of using them for control of many software or hardware devices. Project explains eye anatomy and electrophysiology, types of eye trackers and methods of eye tracking. We studied methods of image processing and image analyzing in LabVIEW development system and IMAQ Vision subsystem. On the base of these studies, we created whole eye tracking system .This system can be used for both the eye tracking from video recording and real time eye tracking. This system can monitor position or trajectory of look.
Freshman chemistry teacher students' understanding of basic chemical concept and corresponding representations with a special focus on chemical equations
Hamerská, Lucie ; Rusek, Martin (advisor) ; Bílek, Martin (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of chemical equations as one of the basic chemical concepts. The theoretical part is devoted to the teaching of chemistry from the point of view of curriculum documents, the specifics of this school subject are presented, and the chemical triplet of representations is introduced. Subsequently, the thesis takes a closer look at the topic of chemical equations and their balancing. The eye-tracking method is also briefly introduced. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to map freshman chemistry teacher students' understanding of the particulate nature of matter, with an emphasis on chemical equations as a transcript of chemical reactions. The research combines both quantitative and qualitative methods. Twenty-four students participated in the initial written testing. Based on their performance on the test, students were divided into three categories. For the next phase of the research, the sample was narrowed down to 11 respondents. The eye-tracking method combined with think-aloud and interviews was used to obtain more detailed information. While the written pretest mainly tested knowledge of basic chemical concepts, the eye-tracking pretest focused more specifically on chemical equations and their presentation using different chemical representations.
